These chia seed puddings are a delicious and nutritious breakfast that parents and children can enjoy together. They’re a powerhouse of nutrition as they’re packed with essential nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, protein, and calcium. Chia seeds also promote healthy digestion and provide sustained energy without spiking blood sugar levels. Such a super food 🙌🏼
Serves: 1 adult serve and 1 baby serve
Ingredients:
2 tbsp chia seeds
250ml plant based milk
1 tsp alcohol free vanilla essence
1 banana
1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
Steps:
- Place chia seeds, plant based milk, vanilla essence and optional maple syrup (not recommended for less than 1 year) in your Catchy silicone bowl and lid.
- Shake to mix (they’re completely leakproof!) and place in fridge overnight. You may wish to shake the pudding a few more times but this is not necessary.
- Cut banana into slices and pan fry in oil of choice until caramelised. You can do this and place in the fridge overnight or cook fresh the next morning.
- Place banana on pudding and enjoy!
