We’re all about getting your little human eating the family meal as soon as they’re able to! This crockpot stew is perfect for the whole family! We love making mealtimes less messy and stressful, this one pot meal makes family mealtime easy!
RECIPE
- stewing beef
- 2 large carrots (chopped)
- small bag of mini potatoes (I did whole but you could chop)
- half a white onion (diced)
- 1 carton of beef broth (I used low sodium)
- spices to taste (I used onion, garlic & black pepper)
- flour or corn starch (to thicken)
INSTRUCTIONS
Brown the stewing beef in a pan with olive oil and seasonings of choice (I listed the ones I used above). While the beef is browning peel and chop 2 carrots and half an onion. Add carrots, onion, and a small bag of mini potatoes to the crockpot. Once browned transfer the stewing beef from the pan into the crock pot and add the carton of beef broth. You can add more seasoning at this point (I waited to add salt until I took out my son’s portion). Pop on the lid and I cooked on high for 4 hours! After 4 hours, mix flour or cornstarch (about 3 tbsp) with water and combine well, then add into the stew and mix. Let this sit for about 10 minutes on high as the heat is needed to activate the flour/ cornstarch. Once thickened to your liking, serve and enjoy! 💛
